Theatre credits include roles in Dinner, Flesh Dense and The Exercism Of Mary Rose for Red Lemon, The Gathering for Theatre Abandon, Pride & Prejudice/Pick & Mix for Replay, What The Butler Saw and Nobody Here But Us Chickens for Rawlife, Santaland Diaries for C21, Chasing The Whale’s Tale for Sticky Fingers, Collectors for Trouble Joe, The Crucible and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui at The Lyric Theatre, Pride and Prejudice, The Dumb Waiter, Philadelphia, Here I Come, Our Town and Hay Fever for South Bank Playhouse.

Radio work includes Stranded, It Ain’t What You Do and Don’t Make Me Laugh, all for BBC Radio Ulster.

Stephen is a member of Playback Belfast and facilitates theatre and drama workshops for a wide range of school and community groups, some as a member of Replay Productions’ ‘Theatre Squad’ team. For the last two years he has been a mentor on the Lyric Theatre’s ‘Pat & Plain’ project with Primary Schools. He has been Manager of Bruiser Theatre Company since 2002. He is one third of comedy writing and performing team Those Who Can’t. Previous theatre direction credits include productions for Belfast Community Circus, Skewiff Theatre Company, Belfast Actors’ Studio, Block One Theatre Company, The Tyrone Guthrie Society, Plays In Progress, South Bank Playhouse and Glass Ceiling Theatreworks.
